Dear Friends,

The staff of the Cancer Survivor Center hopes you had a wonderful Fourth of July. As always, the festivities in Aspen were grand and culminated with fireworks on the golf course on Wednesday night.

We want you all to be aware and save the date for our cancer survivor symposium (and please pass this email along to those you may be interested):

What: “Cancer Survivorship: Mental, Physical, and Nutritional Strategies for Cancer Patients and Their Loved Ones”

Where: Given Institute (University of Colorado School of Medicine, Aspen Campus).

When: August 17, 2007 from 1 PM to 5 PM (to be followed by a speaker reception in the courtyard).

Cost: The symposium is free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged at the door.

The speakers list is outstanding and includes:

Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Professor Emeritus at Cornell University and author of "The China Study".

Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, the Cleveland Clinic and author of "Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease"

Dr. Tim Byers, Deputy Director at the University of Colorado Cancer Center Professor of Preventive Medicine and Biometrics at the CU School of Medicine

Dr. Kristin Kilbourn, University of Colorado Cancer Center, Program Leader of Psychosocial Oncology UCCC Cancer Survivorship Program
